Ninewells Community Garden lies in the beautiful arboretum of Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. We promote physical activity and healthy living through community gardening; in an environment where horticulture supports well-being, therapy and rehabilitation.
The garden is free to visit and is open to all, 7 days a week.

Your journey with nature starts here. We invite you to join the Ninewells Community Garden community!
We regularly host community events, workshops and learning opportunities, these will be advertised through our social media and eventbrite. Past events have included Elderflower Cordial Workshop, Wreath Making, Summer Salads and Flower Arranging.
If you have a group that would like to come and help out for the day (i.e. corporate volunteering) then Wednesday's are usually best for this, get in touch with our team to arrange something.
Help our dedicated team of garden volunteers to maintain and grow our wonderful garden. Our friendly garden facilitator June will lead the sessions and can provide support and tuition if you have no gardening experience. The garden is open to everyone – patients, their families, hospital staff, students, volunteers, and members of the public. Our general opening hours are 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM daily. Please check our website or on-site signage for any seasonal adjustments or special event closures.
